Tasting notes:

This Port-style Merlot was fortified close to the end of fermentation to allow a mild sweetness. We then aged the wine for three years in neutral French oak barrels to mellow out the alcohol. The rich colour is intensified by the aromas of dark black cherry and cinnamon, with bursts of blackberry and smooth candied maraschino cherries on the palate. Enjoy with cheeses and mild desserts.
